Mike J. Shelby, is a professional accountant with 20+ years of accounting industry experience. Since 2001, he has worked in corporate and public accounting providing outsourced CFO and tax planning services for his clients.

His combined industry experience in corporate and public accounting serves clients in multiple industries such as chemical manufacturing, construction, property management, real estate flipping, medical clinics, restaurants, breweries, and international e-commerce.

Mike is currently the CEO of Shelby Accounting Services, a professional services firm with its roots in tax planning and outsourced CFO services.

Mike is also a published author of Strategic Tax Planning for Real Estate Investors and The Art of Real Estate Flipping: Strategies for Success.

In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Kellie and their 5 children. He enjoys reading, chess, travel, and attending personal development seminars.

He received his BBA of Finance from Mississippi State University and went on to receive his Master’s of Accountancy from Purdue University.
